Marbles--Great Times for Young and Old

Here in Raleigh, we're quite lucky to have Marbles Kids Museum. Marbles became when Playspace and Exploris merged a few years back. Now, we can experience an awesome two story museum of fun for kids. When on Spring Break last week, I took the girls, and we had an awesome time!! Yes, they do have a mini-rink, complete with special socks so you slide around. And yes, adults can go in too!

This weekend, after my long run, I wanted some more time outside. So Lucy and I went over to the driving range to hit some balls. After a few years rest, I proudly can say I hit decent. Lucy, as well, for her first time, did pretty well also. Of course, she did like the ball dispenser best!

Social Networking on the Trail

So this weekend when I ran out at Umstead State Park, I took my phone. Got a couple pictures on the 13 mile run. Run was tough to start, but broke in and felt better once I reached the Graylyn Trail. I do love that park to run in!

Less Than a Month...

Pretty good 6 mile run this morning on day one of spring break. Wednesday I have a 9 miler, followed by 26 on Saturday.

Happy Easter!

Girls were up and at 'em before 7, but 6:30 is definitely doable. Of course I was awoken from a deep slumber by, 'Daddy, the Easter Bunny came...' and then, 'Myra, I already woke him up.' Hula hoops, cds, books, nightgowns, candy. Pretty good haul. And now just a fun day together.

6 mile run tomorrow, 9 on Wednesday, and 22 or 24 on Saturday. Then the tapering begins. Four weeks left!
