I Scream...You Scream...

Oh boy!  The girls are obsessed with As Seen on TV, just like their Daddy.  The latest is the ice cream makers.  Sure enough, Nana and PapPap send them down for Easter!

Truly a Monkey!

Myra had a party yesterday for a good friend from school.  It was held in this awesome plus in downtown.  They had trapeeze and all kinds of things.  Very cool!

Grandma's Fern

Kerry had it in her classroom for a couple years, but as you can see the brown ferns, it did not do too well.  We joke that her room is where plants go to die.  I brought it to my office, and you can see new growth already.  Woot!

Swimming Lessons

Back at it with the girls.  Trying swimming lessons again at the Y.  Will probably go tomorrow for some practice.  Gotta get them swimming.

My Little Strawberry

Myra and her soccer buddies make me laugh.  Had soccer yesterday.  They spend half the time practicing drills.  Then they do scrimmages.  There are red and blue jerseys.  So each week the kids get to decide what they are.  Last week--Strawberries and Blueberries.  This week?  Fire and water.

Field Day!

Volunteered at the girls' field day yesterday.  Yes, it was early for Field Day.  Yes, it was cold.  Not sure what's going on in Raleigh, but the highs have been about 45-50 the past week.  Brr!  Lots of fun though--got my Noodle Hockey station again.  Lucy, Myra, and Kerry all came through my station.  Fun!

More Snow!

So we're in the middle of a cold snap.  I looked out my window at work today and saw great big snowflakes.  So cool!!

Hey...I am almost ready for my first marathon in them!  They are foolish looking, but they do work!

St. Patrick's Day

Great times this weekend.  From K's folks and Laura and Dave's visit to my cousin Becca and her boyfriend, we entertained, entertained, entertained!  Fun times!

Lucy's Museum

Lucy decided she was going to hold a museum show in her room this weekend.  She arranged a variety of paintings, paper airplanes, and other artwork.  Very impressive.  Plus, as you can see, she had a good helper!

How My Other Girls Spend Soccer Mornings

Myra started soccer this past weekend.  She did AWESOME!  Best of her group of about 8, except for a ball hog.  We are excited to really see her get excited about this!

Yeah, so my girls went to the hockey game the other night.  We stayed home, but they got to go.  With their buddies Jon and Jim.

Luck o' the Irish

Had another Y Princess meeting the other night.  We are flying through this year.  Lucy earned yet another feather...only one left!  A bunch of big events coming up now---we have the family picnic at the Dump in two weeks, a Spring Outing at Camp Seafarer next month, then a camping trip in May.

New Phone Day!

Yeah, so my Galaxy Nexus stopped charging.  Had some bent pins.  Boy, you never know how much you rely on them until they are gone.  Just one day, and I was sweating...

Decided to trade it in for a Galaxy S3, instead of waiting days for the repairs.  Now trying to get it up to scratch again.
